MEN'S ESSAY CONTEST: Washington State PTA invites all children to enter an ESSAY CONTEST! Men make a difference in the lives of the children they care about. Washington State PTA is promoting a statewide essay contest that explores this vital relationship - from our children’s perspective. All entries for must be submitted to the WSPTA office; 2003 65th Ave. W. Tacoma, WA. 98446. Deadline is 3/1. Click here for more information.
KINDNESS AND COMPASSION CLUB: As an ongoing part of the Rachel's Challenge the "K.C. Club" will be held during lunch and recess. Any student can attend and bring their lunch one day each week. Kids will be sharing ideas about how to spread kindness throughout the school and community. We need parent volunteers to make this happen! Are you willing to help 1 day a month? BOXTOPS NEEDED! The February Box Tops and Labels Classroom Contest is going strong! The class that turns in the most Box Tops and Labels by 2/29 will win a HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY! Send your Box Tops and Labels in a Ziploc bag with your child’s teacher’s name on it. You can also attach Box Tops to this collection sheet. A list of participating products can be found here for Box Tops and here for Labels. If we reach our goals by the end of May, EVERYBODY will win a prize!Qs?
