Just a reminder that Mid-Winter Break goes through Tuesday 2/21.  Legislative Focus Day in Olympia is Monday 2/20 (tomorrow), our first ever Talent Show is Friday, 2/24.  Several needs for various team volunteers and a couple deadlines are coming up, so be sure to read through the entire Falcon Flash.  There is even something "just for dads!"

We are in for another short week but it is full of fun.  No school on Friday for the start of Mid-Winter Break.  There are a lot of announcements this week so be sure read all the way through.

The big game is over and now it's finally time for our Rachel's Challenge community event Monday, 2/6 at 630pm.  Forest View PTA is proud to be able to offer a program not just for our students but also for our community.  I can't wait to see how many people attend.  Have you added to your link to our chain of kindness by inviting your neighbors and friends? Email and Facebook are great ways ways to reach a lot of people.  Remember NO school for students on Monday, 2/6.

January ends with a very busy week.  Remember there IS school Monday 1/30.  Wednesday, 2/1 is the deadline for yearbook orders and Happy Ads.  The School dance is Friday 2/3 so that means that the Dance Man will be hanging out in PE helping the kids polish their dance moves (Tues-Fri).

Well, the snow was sure pretty and fun the first few days but a week later I'm glad to see it go and get the kids back into school.  Several flyers about upcoming events were slotted to come home last week so this week we will be sending home a lot via Kid Mail.  Please be sure check your children's backpacks Tuesday afternoon.  Look through this Falcon Flash to get a head start on the deadline changes and rescheduled dates.  You can also find information about Kindergarten Registration for the 2012-13 school year (see Everett School District section below) and the schedule for Legislative Focus Day is finally available in the Legislative section below.

Finally we've got some snow.  My girls are so excited.  Hopefully it goes away by Tuesday.  This is a short week with no school Monday for MLK day and end the week with the school dance on Friday.
